SCALAC is the Advanced Computing System for Latin America and the Caribbean that organizes and integrates for the region a strategic infrastructure in the field of high-performance computing based on an advanced architecture that includes both high-performance computing (HPC) , scientific computing as high productivity (HTC)

Events

One of the main objectives of SCALAC is to provide highly trained human resources in high-capacity infrastructures, which is why it is very important to promote the CARLA conference and courses that support this activity.

September 30 to October 4 in Santiago, Chile.
CARLA is an international conference aimed at providing a forum to foster the growth and strength of the High Performance Computing (HPC) community in Latin America through the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, techniques, and research in HPC and its applications areas. Started in 2014.

September 30 to October 4 at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile.

This event is designed to provide in-depth, practical knowledge on deploying and managing HPC clusters, with the majority of talks offered in Spanish.
