Santos Dumont Supercomputer Summer School Advances High-Performance Computing
From January 27 to February 7, the Santos Dumont Supercomputer hosted its Summer School, a fully remote event offering mini-courses and workshops on high-performance computing. Participants delved into parallel programming, using the SLURM system, and CUDA programming. These courses aimed to enhance skills in hardware architectures and software optimization, crucial for scientific and technological progress.
A highlight was the lecture on February 6 titled "Transforming Personalized Learning Experience with Large Language Models," broadcast live at 9:00 a.m. (GMT-3). All activities were freely available through LNCC's YouTube channel, where recordings are also accessible for later viewing.
