The Latin America High Performance Computing Conference, CARLA 2026, invites the academic, scientific, technological, and industrial communities from Latin America, the Caribbean, and around the world to submit their contributions to be part of the program of this new edition, which will take place from September 21 to 25, 2026, in Córdoba, Argentina.
CARLA has established itself as one of the leading regional spaces for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, research results, and technological advances related to High Performance Computing (HPC) and its applications. In its 2026 edition, the conference will be hosted by the National University of Córdoba and organized by UNC Supercómputo, bringing together specialists, researchers, students, industry professionals, supercomputing centers, and institutions linked to the advanced computing ecosystem.
The call is addressed to those working on topics related to high performance computing, artificial intelligence at HPC scale, scientific applications, technological infrastructure, data science, HPC education, sustainability, emerging architectures, visualization, simulation, computational modeling, and advanced technologies.
Selected contributions will be part of an academic and technical program that will include paper presentations, workshops, tutorials, poster sessions, keynote lectures, and spaces for engagement with the regional and international community.
The extended deadline for abstract and paper submissions is May 24, 2026, GMT. Interested participants can review the guidelines and submit their proposals through the official conference website.
CARLA 2026 represents an opportunity to present research advances, share experiences, showcase projects, strengthen collaboration networks, and contribute to the development of HPC in Latin America and the Caribbean. It also seeks to encourage the participation of new generations of talent, promoting a more diverse, collaborative, and inclusive ecosystem.
SCALAC invites researchers, students, professionals, supercomputing centers, universities, public institutions, international organizations, and industry to actively participate in this call and submit their proposals.
