The Latin American High Performance Computing Conference, CARLA 2026, will take place from September 21 to 25, 2026, in the city of Córdoba, Argentina, hosted by the National University of Córdoba, one of the higher education institutions with the longest historical tradition in Latin America.
This edition will be organized by UNC Supercómputo, under the leadership of Nicolás Wolovick, who highlighted the importance of CARLA as the leading High Performance Computing (HPC) conference in Latin America and the Caribbean.
From the facilities of UNC Supercómputo, where the university’s server infrastructure is located, Wolovick extended an invitation to the academic, scientific, technological, and industrial communities across the region to take part in this important event.
CARLA 2026 will bring together specialists, researchers, students, industry professionals, and representatives from supercomputing centers to strengthen the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and advances in high performance computing and its applications.
The program will feature distinguished international guests, keynote lectures, scientific paper presentations, workshops, tutorials, and spaces for engagement with sponsors, who will share the latest trends, solutions, and developments shaping the future of HPC worldwide.
